In Southern Oregon, Community Works, is not a slogan. It’s a very important non-profit organization that helps people overcome domestic abuse, sexual violence, homelessness, and trauma with the resources to escape, recover and rebuild their lives.
Community Works serves children, adolescents, young adults, women and families who are working to overcome a severe life crisis or trauma. We help people move forward using their own strengths in a productive and positive way.Community Works serves 16,000 people annually with programs addressing homeless, runaway and adjudicated youth; mental health services; and victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Of course, a few times a year, they need support to carry out their critical mission. We encourage you to get involved and support this organization. They coordinate with several other organizations in Southern Oregon to provide solutions that save lives. Homelessness and abuse are in every community.
If you know of someone in danger of domestic violence (and you probably do know someone experiencing domestic violence), then please share Community Works with them so they have the resources to find a new life.
Community Works is in need of donations to fund their work in 2015.
Your donation will help make our community a better place. Please contact them to make a donation and know that it will make a difference.
